Participants joined in with staff for an #ArtTherapy session through painting #HolidayOrnaments for the state capitol Christmas tree in Sacramento. This year’s ornaments were holiday bells featuring three virtues: Faith, Hope, and Love. So excited to be a part of this holiday tradition.

Tasting honey is as much an art as it is a science! As part of our educational activities program, participants and staff enjoyed a neuroscience honey tasting exercise that assesses visual, olfactory, gustatory, and texture experiences. Each taste produced a unique neuroscience sensory experience, while expanding our perceptual knowledge of bees and honey! We learned that honey is a perfect source of energy that keeps our immunity strong. We celebrated with a final tasting of hot homemade southern biscuits drizzled with our favorite We enjoyed our bee and educational series so much that we created a “Bees Knees” playlist on our YouTube channel.
