🎃 MacGyver Pumpkin Decorating Activity + Contest 🧶

Inspired by top agent Angus MacGyver who notoriously solves very complex problems, teams were given the mission to create the most creative pumpkin, with very specific tools and materials including double-sided tape, paperclips and yarn. Participants had so much fun as they teamed up with staff members to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces.

Everyone did such an amazing job and we are so lucky to have such caring people in our community 🤗

Tasting honey is as much an art as it is a science! As part of our educational activities program, participants and staff enjoyed a neuroscience honey tasting exercise that assesses visual, olfactory, gustatory, and texture experiences. Each taste produced a unique neuroscience sensory experience, while expanding our perceptual knowledge of bees and honey! We learned that honey is a perfect source of energy that keeps our immunity strong. We celebrated with a final tasting of hot homemade southern biscuits drizzled with our favorite We enjoyed our bee and educational series so much that we created a “Bees Knees” playlist on our YouTube channel.
