The Helping Hands for Better Living community enjoyed a Spring themed therapeutic art activity! 🎨🖌️

These educational, hands-on experiences help build confidence, spark joy, and create meaningful moments—one color at a time.

💐Members collaborated to create a beautiful flower pot with Spring flowers. Clusters of q-tips were dipped in paint and then dabbed on paper to create beautiful flower petals. These masterpieces will be featured in our lobby during the Spring season 🌷

Tasting honey is as much an art as it is a science! As part of our educational activities program, participants and staff enjoyed a neuroscience honey tasting exercise that assesses visual, olfactory, gustatory, and texture experiences. Each taste produced a unique neuroscience sensory experience, while expanding our perceptual knowledge of bees and honey! We learned that honey is a perfect source of energy that keeps our immunity strong. We celebrated with a final tasting of hot homemade southern biscuits drizzled with our favorite We enjoyed our bee and educational series so much that we created a “Bees Knees” playlist on our YouTube channel.
