Helping Hands for Better Living adult day health care center (ADHC) provides community-based adult services (CBAS) through comprehensive medical, education, and therapy services to adults with developmental disabilities. Our Innovative program includes therapeutic activities, nursing, personal care, transportation, daily hot meals, and continued educational training.

Kicking off National Activities Professionals Week, “Shaping the Future,” where we celebrate the heart and spirit of adult day health care facilities.
Activity professionals inspire, engage, enrich, and make the lives of the residents and adult day health care participants, so much better and more interesting! It’s because of them that many long-term residents and disabled or frail adults, have good quality-of-life experiences.

Winter is alive and well!
The Helping Hands for Better Living community celebrated National Snowman Day through a hands-on art project, while viewing and listening to The Snowman - the 1982 British animated television film and symphonic poem based on Raymond Briggs’ 1978 picture book of the same name. It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film and won a BAFTA TV Award.
