🌺We wrapped up our Summer Travel Series to Hawaii 🌺Participants enjoyed their “Hawaiian Shirt” day with some festive music and tiki art project 🎼

Led by Activities Director, Mr. Mark, June’s educational programs included learning about Hawaiian culture, food, beautiful landscape, and of course entertainment!

Tasting honey is as much an art as it is a science! As part of our educational activities program, participants and staff enjoyed a neuroscience honey tasting exercise that assesses visual, olfactory, gustatory, and texture experiences. Each taste produced a unique neuroscience sensory experience, while expanding our perceptual knowledge of bees and honey! We learned that honey is a perfect source of energy that keeps our immunity strong.
